Hello from the beautiful Sierra mountains! Camp Krem is currently kicking it in a fabulous cabin in Truckee, CA. And although we've been told that it hasn't snowed here in over a month, the ground is still caked in the clean, white, crunchy stuff. We arrived yesterday evening and walked into the cabin with mouths open and eyes wide with awe; the cabin was bigger and more beautiful than we could have imagined.
After getting settled into our rooms (with a flat screen TV in almost every one), we made our way upstairs to start a fire while we waited for dinner. Puzzles and games began immediately as everyone made the transition to vacation mode. The evening ended with a talent show, popcorn, and hot chocolate.
Everyone is looking forward to spending the day in the snow, especially throwing some snowballs and zooming down the hills on sleds and saucers. I'm sure that snow angels will also make an appearance today.
