Everyone made it home safely from the Snow Trip; we even met up with parents in Emeryville an hour early thanks to clear roads and no traffic! The trip was an overwhelming success. It gave everyone the chance to relax and catch up with each other while having fun in the snow.
After a long morning of playing in the snow and an afternoon of shopping for some, everyone relaxed Saturday evening. Some played games, finished puzzles, or watched television. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful blanket of powder. The trees, house, driveway, and bus were all buried. Luckily, we had some hard-working men with us ready to shovel the drive; they finished the job just as a snow plow came to work on every driveway except ours. The reason for this is still a mystery, but their hard work paid off for everyone on the trip.
Stay tuned for more updates, as the Valentine's Day overnight at Camp Krem will take place on February 12th-13th. If you are interested in attending or volunteering as a staff, fill out an application online (www.campingunlimited.com) and call Gail in the business office at (510) 222-6662.
