After breakfast is served, cabins are cleaned, and teeth are brushed all seven cabin groups eagerly await the bell. It’s ten o’clock, and its time for Moment to Own It!
The playground is filled with smiling faces, ready to compete in this a series of friendly challenges. All campers have an opportunity to compete in silly challenges, from three legged races to wacky balloon competitions.
Jason of cabin four competed with fellow cabin mate Neil. The two friends are psyched to participate today! They walk together with spaghetti clinched between their teeth in an odd relay race. Although the two did not win,, both were elated that they finished the challenge. As the crowd cheered on, they gave everyone around high fives, toothy grins showing. The two clearly felt a sense of accomplishment, supported by campers and counselors alike. As we leave the playground for more activities, morale is high. Jason, Neil, and all of camp descend on the other exciting activities, with a sense of pride, success and support.
